Our Story

How it all started...

Love Broke The Chains was birthed in 2011 at Church of the Living Waters under the leadership of Apostles Chester and Peggy Jo Mason. Their ministry is widely recognized as an apostolic–prophetic house marked by deliverance, healing, the arts, and the transforming power of God’s love. Apostles Chester and Peggy Jo Mason were dedicated to establishing God’s children in their destiny, and throughout their ministry they ordained and released many sons and daughters to fulfill their God-given purpose.

In January 2015, as part of their apostolic succession plan, Apostles Mason entrusted one of their spiritual daughters, Apostle Nataki Tompkins, with the mandate God had given them—to continue building an apostolic–prophetic house rooted in LOVE and the Arts. Since that time, the ministry has been established as Love Broke The Chains Ministry, where Apostle Tompkins continues to steward and advance the founders’ vision.

We continue to honor our spiritual parents, Apostles Chester and Peggy Jo Mason, who have gone on to be with the Lord. Their legacy remains foundational to who we are, and they will forever be remembered with gratitude and love.

Expanding the vision...

Since the inception of this ministry, we have worked tirelessly to minister to the LGBTQIA Community, walked alongside our siblings  seeking freedom from same-sex attraction, and equipped the body of Christ to compassionately disciple those pursuing wholeness in Christ. Our ministry also extends support to families and loved ones as they navigate this journey together.

In 2019, God expanded our mandate beyond our original commissioning. While continuing our foundational work, we became a place where deep inner healing and deliverance are cultivated—addressing a wide range of issues that contribute to relational and sexual brokenness and leading individuals toward lasting restoration through Christ.

Where we are headed...

2026 Love Broke The Chains will officially launch our Bridging The Gap- LGBTQIA Leadership Ministry Training, open our Small Groups for families, HIV/AIDS, and individuals seeking to overcome SSA/ unwanted SSA.  Our Equipping Center will continue to serve as a vital resource for ministries and individuals who have a desire to:
  • Evangelize during Pride and within this community.
  • Establish a ministry focus for the LGBTQIA Community.
  • Facilitate training others through our Walking Free Program and Bridging The Gap (LGBTQIA) Leadership Training.
