Our Story

How it all started...

Love Broke The Chains was birthed in Church of the Living Waters under the leadership of  Apostles Chester and Peggy Jo Mason in the year of 2011.  Their ministry is well known as an apostolic-prophetic house that moves heavily in deliverance and healing through the power and anointing of God’s love and the arts.  Apostles Chester and Peggy Jo Mason believe in establishing God’s children in their destiny.  Therefore, they have ordained many sons and daughters in the Lord sending them out to fulfill their God-given purpose.
In January of 2015, Apostles Mason instituted their apostolic- succession plan and entrusted one of their many daughters Apostle Nataki Tompkins to carry on the mandate God gave them to be an apostolic-prophetic house through the power of LOVE and the Arts.  Since that time, the ministry has been established as Love Broke The Chains Ministry, and Apostle Tompkins continues the work of the founder’s vision.
The ministry continues to honor our spiritual parents Apostle's Chester and  Peggy Jo Mason who has gone on to be with the Lord.  They shall forever be honored and remembered.

Expanding the vision...

Since the conception of this ministry, we have worked tirelessly to minister to the LGBTQIA Community, assist our siblings who desired freedom from living a lifestyle of homosexuality, and made strides to educate the body of Christ on how to walk with those seeking wholeness.  This includes walking with their family and friends as well. In 2019, God expanded our purpose to not only continue with our original commissioning, but to also become a place where deep inner healing and deliverance can occur from a variety of issues which cause relational and sexual brokenness.

Where we are headed...

For the remainder of 2024 and entering 2025 Love Broke The Chains will continue establishing its location in New Jersey and launch our Equipping Center in Michigan. Our center will be a resource for training ministries and individuals who have a desire to:
  • Evangelize during Pride and within this community.
  • Establish a ministry focus for the LGBTQIA Community.
  • Facilitate training others through our Walking Free Program and Bridging The Gap (LGBTQIA) Leadership Training.
